Terms of use

The platform supports lawful scientific research, writing and analysis. Outputs are drafts that assist the researcher; its reviews are fully automated and are not human peer review.

• You are responsible for holding the right to upload and use every material.
• You are responsible for reviewing all content before submitting or publishing it, and for the paper's accuracy and authorship.
• You must follow your journal's or institution's policy on permitted assistance and disclosure of AI use.
• Acceptance for publication and error-free output are not guaranteed.

• Unlawful or fraudulent use, impersonation, or misrepresenting authorship.
• Fabricating data, experiments, results, references, ethics approvals or peer reviews.
• Plagiarism, manipulating evidence, or misleadingly attributing results or work.
• Academic cheating or breaching institutional or journal rules.
• Uploading confidential or classified information, personal data or protected material without the necessary authorisation or legal basis.
• Attempting to access others' data or abusing the platform and its services.

You or the relevant rights holders keep ownership of what you upload and produce. You grant the operator a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process these materials and to send the necessary parts to the providers listed in the Privacy policy, only as needed to run the service for you; it ends when they are deleted.

Anyone can report a violation via the Contact page choosing "Report misuse". Reports are reviewed; where a violation is established, use may be suspended, the account stopped or the offending content removed, with the reason given where possible.

"Every user, whether an individual or an organisation, must use the platform lawfully and ethically, and is responsible for the materials they upload, their right to use them, and their own actions and decisions regarding outputs and their submission or publication. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for unlawful, fraudulent or non-compliant use by the user or third parties. This clause shall not be construed as exempting the operator from its statutory obligations or from liability that cannot lawfully be excluded."

This clause awaits legal review for the operator and applicable law before final adoption.

Each registered user is asked to accept this version of the Terms when signing in; the version and acceptance date are recorded. When the Terms change, the version is bumped and acceptance is requested again.
